Exercise can be one of the more effective ways for our bodies to combat the ageing process. Weight bearing exercise is important for boosting and maintaining bone mass. This includes jogging, climbing stairs and weight training. Even simply walking regularly for 30 minutes daily can strengthen our pelvic floor muscles and reduce the risk of incontinence in woman by up to 25% (ANP News Report, Feb 2010).
Aerobics, on the other hand, can improve the circulation and more effectively remove toxins which can only be good for a glowing healty skin. This also improves the blood flow to the brain which in turn improves our thinking processes, memory and the ellusive “feel good factor”!
Exercise has many other benefits and is not only a solution to weight loss but our overall sense of wellbeing at the time and for many years to come!
